Welcome to Montgomery, Alabama!
The Newcomers Club of the Greater Montgomery Area, Inc. was founded in 1965 as a women's social club dedicated to making the transition to life in Montgomery, Alabama easier by providing recent arrivals the opportunity to meet new friends. Our organization offers a variety of activities including cooking club, book discussion, bowling, investment club, matinee movie group, restaurant groups, bridge and karaoke. We also hold regular monthly luncheons, social events and tours in the local area. Women of all ages participate in the various activities, and feel welcome.

Membership in the Newcomers Club
Membership in the Newcomers Club of the Greater Montgomery Area is open to residents who have lived in the greater Montgomery area for three years or less. Prospective members are welcome to attend a luncheon meeting or New and Prospective Member Coffee before joining.
Regular meetings of this club are held at 11:30 am at Arrowhead Country Club on the fourth Thursday of each month except June, November, and December. The November meeting is held on the third Wednesday. There is no meeting in June or December. There is a Holiday Social in December.
The Club year runs from June 1 to May 31.
